ArtColorBike

The FOMAS Group has contributed for several years – since 2019 - to the ArtColorBike Project, which supports the transformative value of arts and colour, capable of conveying essential concepts of contemporary living. Organised in association with the Municipality of Milan, ArtColorBike enhances the work and creativity of the young talents of the Brera Academy in Milan and at the same time promotes the values of environmental awareness and critical consumption. Every year, under the guidance of an Academy Professor, twelve artists from the authoritative Milanese school of fine arts transform twelve bicycles, destined for scrapping, into art works, returning them to the community who can admire them on different occasions through the format of a travelling exhibition.

The most recent collaboration with the association dates back to 2022, when FOMAS organised an exhibition at its company premises of the student-artists’ works, under the subject ecology and sustainable living. The exhibition not only showcased the artistic talents but also provided food for thought to the employees relating to climate change and the measures we can take to combat it.
