The selection procedure
The procurement process aims to accomplish the right balance between fair economic conditions and the highest quality of goods and services purchased.
The selection benchmarks are based on objective evaluations according to principles of fairness, integrity, discipline, quality, innovation, continuity and ethicality. In some cases, we evaluate suppliers according to the following indispensable parameters:
The documented availability of adequate resources, including financial assets, organisational structures, project capabilities and resources, know-how, ability to guarantee the confidentiality of processed information, etc;
The existence and effective implementation, where envisaged by Group procedures, of adequate corporate quality systems (ISO 9001), as well as compliance with safety regulations, an appropriate occupational health and safety management systems (ISO 45001) and, where applicable, any environmental management system (ISO 14001).
