As part of FOMAS GROUP’s commitment to corporate sustainability in our operations including the activities performed by our Business Partners, FOMAS GROUP Companies have in place policies and procedures that require compliance with the FOMAS GROUP Code of Ethics.
FOMAS Group constantly ensures that the supply of the minerals and metals contained in its products is carried out in a responsible manner, in compliance with the provisions and obligations established by the Section 1502 of the "Dodd-Frank Act" and by the EU regulation 2017/821 to counter the use of so-called "conflict minerals".
By "conflict minerals" we mean those minerals, such as tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold, extracted under conditions of exploitation and violation of human rights and whose trade could directly or indirectly finance the purchase of weapons used in war conflicts.
