Superalloys by FOMAS Group

Mastering Superalloys production from the raw mineral to Finished Components

With a new Vacuum Induction Melting furnace, we transform critical raw materials into high-performance specialty alloys, reducing lead times, cutting waste, and strengthening supply chain resilience.

FOMAS Group Superalloys Production

For more than 70 years, FOMAS Group has been delivering high-quality forgings, rolled rings, and gas-atomized metal powders for the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Aerospace & Defence, Nuclear, and broader industrial markets by meeting the highest quality, technical, and regulatory standards required by each market segment.

However, for us, excellence means more than compliance. It means continuously adapting to evolving market needs, embracing innovation, and investing in advanced technologies and R&D to shape the future of our industry.

We also believe that industrial excellence and environmental responsibility must go hand in hand. That is why we commit to reduce our carbon footprint through a more efficient and responsible use of natural resources while investing in technologies and processes that support a more sustainable future.

This commitment drives everything we do. For this reason, FOMAS Group continues to invest strategically in advanced technologies, including the recent installation of a state-of-the-art 5-ton Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) furnace at a dedicated facility in Osnago, Italy. Operating under a controlled atmosphere and vacuum conditions, this cutting-edge system enables the production of a wide range of nickel-based superalloys with exceptional purity and consistency. By recovering and reusing valuable metal scrap, the VIM also supports our sustainability objectives by reducing waste and maximizing resource efficiency throughout the production process.
