Test Laboratory Management Policy

FOMAS is also testing laboratory accredited by ACCREDIA in compliance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 international standard.

ACCREDIA is the sole Accreditation Body appointed by the Italian government to issue an accreditation certificate and to ensure the technical and managerial competence and professional integrity of a testing laboratory. Accreditation attests the quality of the work of a testing laboratory, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and is a guarantee of impartiality, independence, integrity and reliability of the results obtained.

ACCREDIA is a signatory of the ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) and the international Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRA). Consequently, the accredited test reports issued by FOMAS are recognized and accepted worldwide and can be used as a basis for various certifications, limiting the need to perform additional inspections.
